CEDEC Steering Committee Chairman
Computer entertainment technology continues to progress and evolve.
The targets for our business are also diversifying, there is a practically limitless range of devices and content out there, and there are a variety of different business models in use.
Also, the technologies developed over the course of many years in academia and research and development fields, such as VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), and MR (Mixed Reality),have entered the market in earnest in applications alongside existing technology, causing a paradigm shift of new experiences.
These fields have a great deal of growth potential worldwide.
Even in an era when new developments and changes are constantly required, the message CEDEC hope to share with all of you has the same theme:having an adventurous attitude: the spirit to take on new challenges!
That's our keyword here.
This year, I would like to express that attitude as follows.
No matter how much technology and services develop, breakthroughs will always be necessary.
Players and creators each think outside the box, take on new perspectives they have never had before, and create new entertainment.
Aim higher and break through to the future! And let us all take a great leap forward!
From February 1st to April 2nd, we will be seeking session lecturers and exhibitors interested in taking part in the event.
Your knowledge and experience could be a hint or the start of an idea for someone else.
The event is an incredible opportunity to share and discover new stimulation, and I look forward to receiving lots of applications from all of you.
