Toward
CEDEC2025
CEDEC2024, with its theme of “encounters,” was extremely successful as a place for generating new ideas through the sharing of technology and interactions between attendees. Thank you to everyone who took part.
As our aim with CEDEC2025 is the creation of completely original gaming experiences and culture by innovating “fun,” an intrinsic value of game development, we have made its theme “Innovating Fun.”
Today’s market demands that game development pursue methods and perspectives that will offer players new forms of entertainment. Considering this, we will work to further expand opportunities at CEDEC for you to learn and be inspired by increasing the number of sessions based on themes related to innovative designs that leverage the evolution of technology. Additionally, we will seek to make the in-person event even more invigorating and dynamic by expanding the number of opportunities for experiencing first-hand game developers’ creativity through the interactive exhibits displayed in the Lounge, which has been a part of CEDEC from 2023.
CEDEC is a place that supports the growth of the video game industry through knowledge sharing and technology exchange. With next year’s focus being on “Innovating Fun,” we look forward to taking on the challenge of creating new value by redefining the entire industry’s definition of “fun” together with you. We hope to see you at CEDEC2025!
