This lecture is intended for anyone who is involved in PlayStation3/Xbox360 title development, especially for those who is working with middleware, planning to use middleware, or developing middleware.
Also, this lecture will be useful for those who attended the lecture "PS3 title development with 10 programmers" given at CEDEC2009, as this is a follow-up to the past lecture.

Ideas Take Away

Attendees will learn about our approach to working with middlewares/game engines and effort to collaborate.

Since 2006, NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. and CyberConnect2 have collaborated to bring out "NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm" for PlayStation3, which features "NU Library", a multi-platform middleware program developed in-house by NAMCO BANDAI. NU Library will also be featured in "NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2" for PlayStation3/Xbox360 multi-platform, which is to be released this holiday. How did CyberConnect2 tackle those brand-new platforms with NU Library? This lecture will present a case study on a successful collaboration between publisher and developer, which is enabled by adopting the right middleware for the right task.
