Ideas Take Away

Discover how the animation and game industries are tied together through the "power to move".

"The power to move", whether people or things, is what animation is all
about.
Yasuo Otsuka, a veteran animator who has worked with Telecom Animation Film, has been invited to talk to Fumito Ueda, the game director behind Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and, from their different backgrounds, they will discuss ways animators can grow and improve their technique.
Expect a passionate talk that explores how the accumulated knowledge and experience cultivated over the long history of Japanese animation can be applied to the game industry.
